Our Privacy Policy
Privacy & Security is our top priority.
This page explains what we do to maintain your privacy as a Publisher Champ user, and explain in detail what happens to all the data that we collect and store.- Publisher Champ will never share, sell, or otherwise make public any of your data. By using our service, you allow us to fetch the latest data from your account(s) on your behalf, store your data and generate reports for you, based on that data. At any time, you are free to remove all your data from our server by deleting your account or contacting us at support@publisherchamp.com. We reserve the right to analyze the data in aggregate, to help make product decisions. We may also need to access your data in certain support cases, but you will always be informed before this happens.
- Publisher Champ follows industry-best encryption standards. All communication happens over HTTPS, and all data is stored with military-grade 256-bit AES encryption. This means even if someone gained access to our databases, which would be an incredible feat in itself, the data would be completely scrambled.
- Publisher Champ encrypts your data TWICE. That gives us even more security making it impossible for hackers to access ANY sensitive information.
- Publisher Champ support will never ask for your Publisher Champ account password or any third-party service passwords.
- As long as your Publisher Champ password stays private, no one can access your Publisher Champ data.
What sort of data do we collect:
- Your sales (datetime, market-place, ASIN/ID, Author, paid-units, free-units and title of an order) to notify you once you make a new sale, new KENP reads & new Reviews and produce statistics in Publisher Champ for your own use.
- Your Amazon KDP dashboard cookies and any other accounts connected with Publisher Champ (that you will submit on your own will, we will never extract them without your permission) that allow us to download the sales reports from the Amazon KDP Dashboard and any other dashboards connected, to provide you with detailed analytics.
- Your Publisher Champ account password (securely stored using industry-standard encryption) so we can authenticate you into our platform.
- Your Amazon KDP Email to prevent multi-account registration.
- Your KDP Email will only be used to determine if you previously had an account with us, and check if your trial period has ended.
This is the only reason we collect it and nothing else.
- Your KDP Email will only be used to determine if you previously had an account with us, and check if your trial period has ended.
How We Handle Your Data:
- We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
- Service Providers: We use trusted third-party service providers to help us operate our service (such as cloud hosting providers). These providers have access only to encrypted data and are contractually obligated to keep your information secure.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government regulation.
- Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred to the new owner, subject to the same privacy protections.
AI Assistants and Connected AI Services:
Publisher Champ offers optional connections that let you ask supported AI assistants, such as ChatGPT and Claude, to retrieve information from your Publisher Champ account. These connections are disabled until you choose to authorize them.
- Data is shared only when you use the connection: When you ask an AI assistant to use Publisher Champ, we send only the information needed to answer that request. Depending on the tool you choose, this may include book and series details, sales, royalties, pages read, advertising results, marketplace data, currency preferences, and related analytics.
- Shared-account permissions still apply: If another Publisher Champ user has shared an account with you, the AI connection can retrieve only the authors and data that the account owner has permitted you to access.
- The connection is read-only: Our current AI tools can retrieve and analyze Publisher Champ information, but they cannot edit or delete your Publisher Champ data or make changes in your connected publishing accounts.
- Your credentials remain private: The AI provider does not receive your Publisher Champ password, Amazon KDP password, or passwords for other publishing services. Access is provided through an authorization token that you can revoke by disconnecting the integration.
- AI providers have their own policies: Information returned to an assistant becomes content processed by that provider. Its retention, model-improvement, and account settings are governed by its own terms and privacy policy. Before connecting, please review the policies for OpenAI or Anthropic, as applicable.
- We do not train a general-purpose AI model on your private publishing data: Publisher Champ uses your data to provide the reports and connected tools you request. We do not sell that data or use it to train our own general-purpose AI model.
You control whether to connect an AI service and may disconnect it at any time. Disconnecting prevents new requests through that authorization, but information already sent to the AI provider may remain subject to that provider's retention rules and your settings with that provider.
