What is Non-Allocated AMS Ad Spend
Some of you might see the following row in your data across our platform:
What is this?
- This usually appears in your data when Amazon Ads are reporting less spend per book for a specific period of time than what they show as overall spend for your campaign.
Here is an example
- This campaign has spend $2.16, but when we see the Adgroup, it shows only $1.06 which is incorrect!
- So as you can see, there is a difference of $2.16 - $1.06 = $1.10 which will be added to the "Non-Allocated AMS Ad Spend" record on your data.
- This can happend with multiple campaigns and any differences will be added to this record on your data.
Why does this happend?
There could be various reasons that cause this but the main ones are:
- Amazon Ads can take 48-72 hours to adjust/finalize and show the correct Ad spend per book
- Amazon could be facing some issues with the data reporting and they will most likely fix it in tthe next few days (this happens every few months)
How this can be fixed?
- You can follow our Amazon Ads setup guide here on how you can synchronize your Amazon Ads using the official integration we have with Amazon to get the most accurate data without any on-Allocated AMS Ad Spend.
