How to upload your Google Books data

In this article we will show you the step by step on how you can easily upload your Google Books data to our platform!​

Google Books reports are uploaded through Platform royalties. Follow the manual workflow below for each report you want to import.

  1. Download the Google Play sales transaction report from Google Books by following these steps:

    • Login to your Google Books account

    • Go to Reports and select the Google Play sales transaction report

    It is very important to download the correct Report type - Google Play sales transaction report

    • Select the time period you want to export

    • Export the report that you will then need to upload to our platform

  1. Go to the External Royalties/Expenses page on our platform.

  2. Under Import & manage, select Platform royalties.

  1. Confirm Google Books, choose the downloaded report, and select Import Data.

  1. Let it run for a few seconds and the data should be imported!
tip

If some of your Google Books titles do not match any of your existing titles, you will be able to merge your titles by following our guide here
